Leżące w północnej Słowenii Alpy Julijskie to malownicze i niezwykle cenne przyrodniczo pasmo górskie. W trakcie podróży po Słowenii miałem okazję odwiedzić m.in. Park Narodowy Triglav. Warto też okrążyć park, aby zobaczyć słynącą z raftingów rzekę Socę, a także leżące po przeciwnej stronie gór Jezioro Bohinjskie oraz wizytówkę Słowenii – jezioro i zamek Bled.
W Słowenii koniecznie trzeba wybrać się też do Doliny Logarskiej. Zobaczymy tu dosłownie pocztówkowe widoki – potężne turnie i ściany skalne, wodospady oraz sielską mozaikę łąk, lasów i starych farm. Polecam udać się na rowerową lub samochodową wycieczkę trasą powyżej doliny (Solcavska Panoramska Cesta), z której roztaczają się najlepsze widoki na całą okolicę.
